Just send a cheque and we will gladly bank it! All our funding goes directly into the organisation.

If you are paying income tax you can request a gift aid form from us and we can also claim back the tax you pay. This gives us more without costing you more.

What we are all about

The Growing Place is a charity based in the local community which offers work experience for adults with disabilities with the aim of social inclusion through the world of work.

Originally established in 1995, it moved to our current site in 2001and from here we run a small nursery and offer a garden maintenance scheme, particularly for those who are less able themselves through old age or infirmity.

We provide real working situations for people who have additional needs. We produce plants from seeds and cuttings that we sell from site.

Facilities on site include a state of the art glassshouse, polytunnel, shading tunnel, storage and a gift shop with sales area.

we have been collecting postage stamps for raising money and have half a carrier bag full. if anyone else is collecting and would like them contact us on 01775 761945 to arrange for collection.
